I just want to personally say, "Thank you", to everyone who came out! We made new friendships and rekindled old ones, all while playing on some truly spectacular courses.

Pacific Grove lived up to its nickname, the “Poor Man’s Pebble Beach.” The experience of deer standing next to you on the tee box, completely unfazed, while the back nine opens up to breathtaking ocean vistas. The waves crash so close, you can practically feel the sea spray and smell the salt in the air as you battle the unpredictable gusts of wind. It was a one-of-a-kind experience.

Bayonet felt like stepping into a painting—only better. The fairways were the deepest, most vibrant shade of emerald green, and the towering canopies of Cypress trees framed each hole perfectly. Every turn revealed a stunning new view that made you pause and appreciate the moment.

And finally, we wrapped up at Poppy Hills, where the quiet beauty of the course demanded both precision and patience. The Pine tree-lined fairways required your most calculated and accurate drives, setting up approaches to large, undulating greens that were fiercely protected by bunkers. As we made our way through the course, you couldn't help but be drawn deep into the heart of the serene Del Monte Forest with the Pacific Ocean in the background. And as the fog silently crept in towards the end of our rounds I stood in a quiet calmness on the 18th green taking it all in and asked myself why do I love this game?

Is it the outdoors – the green fairways, the blue skies, the lakes and trees, the feel of the breeze across my face?

Is it the friends with whom I play – their companionship, their encouragement, the conversation between holes, the silence as we wait our turn?

​

Is it the game – the balance between grace and skill and power, the striving for perfection, the loft of the ball, the precision of the putt?

​

Or is it all of these - harmony, friendship, balance, and – every once in a while – the perfect shot and a glorious "Amen."

Each course was a masterpiece in its own way, and it was a privilege to share these experiences and memories with all of you. I know Ray Sr. is looking down with a smile on his face. Love you all - Ray Jr.
